Veneza Hotel - Aveiro

Excellent service with helpful staff.

We thought the Hotel was lovely, had everything we needed,all the staff were pleasant and very efficent, we would have no problem in recommending this Hotel, breakfast and room service was excellant.

For us, this beautifully renovated hotel ticked all the boxes. Easy walking location between the train station and the gondolas on the canal. Very good buffet breakfast. Helpful, English-speaking staff. Free Internet (with printer).

Parking challenges due to tight spaces!!! Dated facilities in need of refurbishment!!! Weak air conditioning in some rooms detracting from relaxation!!!

Staff were friendly and helpful.Rooms clean and big enough for 1 night as we were just passing through.Good breakfeast and off street parking was good value.

The staff were fantastic. They spoke excellent English and were most helpful with directons, recommendations for eating, providing anything we wanted from the hotel etc. The hotel is well located for strolling around the town. Car parking on site a huge advantage.

The hotel's interior garden was peaceful. The staff were great, even bringing pastries from the café across the street to guests seeking breakfast options.

The Wifi was weak. The bed firmness challenged a good night's sleep, resulting in some restless nights.

Welcoming staff, nice and clean room with new furniture. They have a very nice terrace outside where you can enjoy a drink in the evening or breakfast in the morning (if it is not raining as in our case). The breakfast was very good, too, big variety of things to chose, also many fruits, cake etc.. Very good price-performance ratio and good location near to the city center.

It was very warm inside my room (104) and the air conditioning was not working. The minibar in my room was empty which was even more disappointing as the prices were quite reasonable for hotel mini bar drinks according to the displayed list.

The stay included a very pleasant outdoor dining area near a pond, perfect for picnics. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom with a fridge and safe. The breakfast offered some limitations, especially for those preferring more homemade selections. Noise from the street at times disrupted the peaceful ambience, and check-in could have been quicker.

Just an excellent fit for one night in Aveiro with very nice value for money. The breakfast was fantastic, with delicious options that really stood out. Make sure to explore the bakery across the street for fresh pastries.
